Lawns can often be restored to health if they are starting to suffer a little bit. However, sometimes that just isn’t possible and a lawn really is past its best. The question is, how do you know if you need a new lawn? Here are some of the things to look out for:
• Bald patches. If the grass is starting to thin, this could be a sign that it won’t regrow. You can try putting down some more grass seeds and giving your lawn plenty of water to see if this helps. If not, it may be time to consider a new lawn.
•Yellowing grass. This will inevitably happen a little bit over the summer, but if your grass is constantly and unhealthy colour, it could be a sign that it is dying.
• Lack of growth. Grass that doesn’t grow may be lacking in life. Consider replacing it with a new lawn.
